This one can pass as not late, lol. When 2015 started, I was excited to start reading the Doctor Who book I got over Christmas 2014 and things just kinda continued from there. I kept forgetting to wrap up my 2014 reading challenge and do an initial post for 2015.
And yep, I also completed 2015’s challenge. Yayers!
Below are the titles I read:
I have to admit the comics really bumped up my numbers. So counting the comics from the same series as one, my total would just be 16 and I committed to 24. :( I plan to remedy that on the 2016 reading challenge though. More on this on the next reading challenge post.
The thing about this year’s reads are that I love every single one of them. I’d recommend them to anyone. I also read 3 more for the second challenge. That makes it 7 out of 32 books.
2016 reading challenge initial post up next!

I know I know. This is one uber late post. The first of three for reading challenges. For reasons, please read the last three or four personal updates.
I am happy to report that for the 3rd year in a row, my reading challenge was a success.
Below are the books I read:
The book with no picture is “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Avril Tremayne. Okay so there are 6 comics and 1 short story on the list, so that may be kind of cheating. However, I read a lot of free books on Wattpad that aren’t on Goodreads so it balances. I didn’t get far on my 2nd reading challenge and read 4 books out of 31. I’m not too disappointed though because there isn’t a deadline for that challenge. On to the next reading challenge post.

I intentionally skipped doing my annual new year’s post on the first because I was exhausted. I had merely 3 hours of sleep because of NYE celebrations and then went ice skating. When we got home, I was ready to crash but my nephew insisted on playing Star Wars monopoly. I also had to finish the last Sims Freeplay quest because it was ending and I wanted more hairstyle choices, lol. So yeah, I slept past midnight.
I played with the idea to completely skip it this year but I really don’t want to break what has become a personal tradition. So I’m writing this at work in between interval reports (thanks to the holiday quiet).
2015 was a sad and difficult year.

Losing a loved one to death is the most heartbreaking of all heartbreakers. My family lost someone so dear to us just two months past and celebrating Christmas has been difficult.
We were able to rise above our sadness though and got into the season. This afterall is about the birth of Jesus Christ, our savior. Happy birthday, Jesus!
I thank the Lord God, who despite the troubles, has showered us with enough blessings to get by. We offer our celebrations in your name.
Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!
